About Tyler
Tyler Schrader (b. 1994, Adirondack Mountains, NY) is a multidisciplinary wood artist whose work spans sculptural furniture, wall pieces, suspended forms, and immersive installations. Originally trained in fine furniture making and painting, he expanded beyond function into the realm of spatial storytelling. His work explores the full dimensional and emotional range of wood as a medium, transforming raw material into expressive forms that engage both the senses and the spirit.
His large-scale installations fuse traditional woodworking with biophilic design, light, sound, and vibration. The result is a series of living environments that feel both ancient and futuristic, grounded and numinous. These works invite stillness, introspection, and a renewed sense of connection in an increasingly distracted world.
Schrader’s mission is to create a future where nature and technology exist in conscious collaboration. With a deep reverence for the Earth, his work seeks to realign human presence with natural intelligence, offering immersive environments that restore connection to self, to Earth, and to the sacred.
